Sydney Swap Meet last 19/7/10

well guys  i went too the swap meet and  it was pretty sad really i spent sixty bucks all up i will take some pics of what i picked up which wasnt much at all things are looking Grim  the economy is finally hitting the diecast  empire  here in aussieland  most of the dealers didnt even turn up the place was almost empty  arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh oh well i guess i saved a load for next time  lol i picked up  a pink corvette  i think from95 with the blown motor through the hood and a few other things not much too speak of i was shattered  ???

Bit of a bummer it wasn't up to it's usual standard, but even without the GEC, these gatherings can be hit and miss at the best of times ;). I used to hit the big one here in Melbourne held at World Vision, and some days I walked out with zilch, whilst on other days I spent close to a hundred big one's, and could have spent more :o. At least you did get something, and some cool goodies at that 8). Congrats ;).

Moment in time is pretty slick. Mate, there is NOTHING around here. I'm lucky if one new Larry's Garage shows up once a month. Most stores have squeezed the diecast aisles down to a few dozen pegs.
